KADODĒ Long Pepper – Red, is a fruit of a vine from the pepper family. KADODĒ long pepper is harvested when the fruit is very mature. This explains the dark red colour and unique flavour.
It develops at first a pungent taste, followed by a heat sensation, and finally some surprisingly complex hints of dried red berries, cardamom and nutmeg.
It is ideal to spice up meats, specifically lamb or beef, as well as classic sauce dishes. KADODĒ long pepper is particularly useful in slow cooked dishes. First, break into two or three pieces, then incorporate it into to your dish. KADODĒ Long pepper can be also used like black pepper by freshly crushing using or mortar or finely grating to add a spicy and exotic flavour to your plate.
