Definition of the different types of silk:
Fine silk is a natural light and uniform fabric. The shine, the shimmering colors and the softness make this silk an unrivaled fabric. The fine silk that we offer you, created by Artisans d'Angkor, has a silky texture while being firm and opaque, which means that the number of silkworm cocoons to create a thread is higher.
Raw silk is more rustic in appearance, with very pronounced grains, but still with the luster, shimmer of colors and softness that characterizes silk. Natural raw silk is thicker than fine silk and its texture is incomparable. The raw silk that we offer you is opaque which means that the number of silkworm cocoons to create a thread is higher.
Organza silk that we offer is a transparent natural fabric, light, pleasant to the touch and with iridescent reflections. This silk has been boiled and therefore is incomparably soft and flexible.
